Foods & Words

Dish-liciousness
Day 1.  Travel
Day 2.  Giza, Fuul - egyptian beans, whole and/or mashed with mix-ins (olive oil, salt, chili powder, lemon juice, etc)
  Kofta - lamb or beef ground and spiced, then grilled on a stick.
Day 3.  Luxor, Tahini (sesame paste seasoned with salt,  paprika) & Babaganoush (mashed eggplant dip) with Egyptian flat bread
Day 4.  Aswan, Koshary - mixture of rice,  macaroni, chick peas, lentils,  garlic, onion,  and hot sauce to taste
Day 5.  Abu Simbel - Nubian roasted chicken, beef with sauce and vegetables cooked in clay pots, molokai soup
Day 6.  Old Cairo - Om Ali (pastry pieces in cream with nuts and raisins)
Day 7.  Alexandria - Feteer, Egyptian pancake often served with honey
